Jimin BTS Drops New Single ‘Set Me Free Pt. 2’ Before Debut Solo Album Release
Jimin BTS, one of the members of the popular K-pop group BTS, has just released a new single titled Set Me Free Pt. 2 on Friday, March 17. This release comes just ahead of Jimin’s debut solo album, FACE, which is set to release on Friday, March 24.
The single Set Me Free Pt. 2 showcases Jimin’s impressive singing and rapping skills in the hip hop and rap genres. In the accompanying music video, Jimin is seen surrounded by a group of background dancers in a studio. He is wearing two different outfits, one with a black leather jacket and the other with a transparent t-shirt and fur jacket.
According to The Korea Herald, Jimin has expressed that the song Set Me Free Pt. 2 represents his desire to move forward and be free from pain, sadness, and emptiness.
BIGHIT, the agency that manages BTS, has stated that Jimin’s upcoming solo album FACE will focus on him as a solo artist.
The album aims to show Jimin facing himself head-on as he prepares to take his next step as a solo artist. Jimin will also participate in various activities to promote the album, and the agency has asked fans for their support.
During a live broadcast on Weverse on February 10, Jimin revealed that his album would likely be released in March. With the release of the Set Me Free Pt. 2 single, fans are eagerly anticipating the upcoming release of FACE, which is expected to showcase Jimin’s versatility and artistry as a solo artist.
