Kim Seon Ho Declines Offer to Star in Historical Drama ‘Hash’s Shinru’
Actor Kim Seon Ho has declined the offer to star in the upcoming historical drama “Hash’s Shinru” (tentative title).
Initially, “Hash’s Shinru” had offered Kim Seon Ho the lead role in the drama.
However, Kim Seon Ho’s agency, SALT Entertainment, announced on Thursday (March 16) that the actor will not be starring in “Hash’s Shinru.”
“(Kim Seon Ho) discussed starring in ‘Hash’s Shinru,’ but he has agreed with the production company that he will not be taking on the drama,” said SALT Entertainment, as quoted by Soompi.
“Hash’s Shinru” is an adaptation of Yoon Yi Soo’s novel of the same name. Yoon Yi Soo will also be writing the screenplay for the drama.
“Hash’s Shinru” is a historical romance drama set during the reign of King Sejong, also known as the Joseon Renaissance.
The story revolves around the crown prince Lee Hyang, a scientist with a deep fascination for stars, and a mysterious woman named Hae Roo who has the ability to see the future.
Kim Seon Ho had previously received an offer to star in “Hash’s Shinru” and had considered the offer.
If Kim Seon Ho had accepted the offer, “Hash’s Shinru” would have been his second historical drama after “100 Days My Prince.”
Unfortunately, Kim Seon Ho will not be making a comeback in a historical drama.
